LHMS — Lean High Motion System

A standardized, lean dress-pack platform for continuous high-motion operation: maximum motion range with defined MTTR targets — demonstrated in continuous operation with FANUC in Japan and North America.

  • Maximum motion range for high-motion applications
  • MTTR targets: ≤ 7 min material handling / ≤ 15 min carried spot welding
  • Fully sealed against dust and contaminants
  • UL94 V-2 fire-safety-compliant materials
Engineered for
FANUC KUKA ABB YASKAWA Kawasaki Any other robot brand

Each system is configured per robot model and application — pricing is quoted per specification.

What's included

  • LHMS platform configured per robot model and application
  • Corrugated protection tubing with bend relief
  • Application-specific cables and media hoses
  • Robot-specific mounting brackets and supports
  • Validation record and installation documentation

Designed as part of the robot — not an add-on

The LHMS is engineered as a natural extension of the robot: a clean integration with minimal visual footprint that preserves the robot manufacturer’s design language at the customer site, with a consistent appearance across global installations.

Every key design area is defined and engineered for stable mechanical behavior, controlled routing, and full compliance with the robot’s interference and motion requirements.

Validated motion performance

Motion behavior equal to or exceeding the FANUC R-2000 wrist-axis (SA) — validated in combined worst-case cases, including full ±240° J4 rotation with the arm folded back (J2+J3 at −75°).

  • Short-arm support with dual bearing guidance at the J4 axis — stable load transfer, controlled rotation
  • Bearing-guided, self-lubricating rotation concept — reduced friction and wear under high dynamic motion
  • Defined rotational interfaces — no torsion transfer into the cable bundle during combined axis motion
  • Optimized short-arm geometry — minimal overhang within the designated interference envelope
  • Controlled routing that maintains the minimum bend radius under worst-case combined motion

One global standard — compliant everywhere

One centrally governed specification meets German automotive OEM factory specifications (Lastenheft) and FANUC integration requirements with the same system — no regional deviations, no re-engineering.

  • Corrugated tubing for robust cable protection on axes 3–6
  • Closed dress-pack design with defined bend relief and integrated cable grease
  • Approved high-flex robotic cables only, with individual strain relief per cable
  • No robot-specific adjustments during installation
  • Standardized service, documentation and spare-part concepts worldwide

Deployed globally, supported locally

First-class support with local presence in Japan, Europe, the USA, Mexico, India, China and other key regions — customized spare-part kits and standardized dress-pack inventories, ready for immediate availability.

  • Spare-parts delivery and service-engineer deployment within 24 hours, where required
  • Typical lead time of 4–6 weeks from Becker locations to regions worldwide
  • 3-year warranty as standard, with optional extensions
  • DCDI QR code on every robot — documentation, spare parts and escalation one scan away
